Rainbird Collective.

At Rainbird Collective, we offer te taiao and cultural impact assessments with a team of experts in Maori history and public policy research, as well as modern farming plans with views on integrating the rongoa and traditional knowledge of past with the Maori worldview of the future.

Mapping and stakeholder engagement are key ingredients in our assessments, blending modern and traditional. Working for iwi, post-settlement groups, and alongside local and regional councils, we give voice to te taiao on behalf of a range of clients.

We offer on-site wananga on topics ranging from arts & culture to rongoa and restoration planting.  As a collective, we have past and present university research projects on freshwater ecology & coastal marine te taiao planning.

We stand on the land with our clients, bringing their oral histories and traditions into our work every day.
